- Contestants may compete in a LIVE pageant for the country in which
they live, work, own property, or attend school.
- Contestants can represent their heritage at any LIVE pageant as long as
there is not a LIVE pageant being held for that heritage title.
- We also offer Virtual Pageants and Appointed titles if you cannot attend
a LIVE pageant, or one is not offered in your country.
IN THE USA
The USA offers LIVE and Virtual National Pageants where two titles are awarded in each age division. Contestants who live, work, attend school, or own property in the USA may compete in any USA National Pageant of their choice. Pageant participation is not restricted by state borders so contestants can go anywhere in the USA to compete. All winners are required to compete at the upcoming International Pageant. After a National Pageant is held, you may contact the director to see if any titles are still available for appointment.
National Pageants in countries outside of the USA
National LIVE pageants are offered in some countries outside of the USA. For countries without a LIVE pageant, we offer appointed, virtual, and heritage titles. Some country titles are also offered at some of our LIVE USA National Pageants. Please contact our office to see if your country title is being offered. All winners are required to compete at the upcoming International Pageant. Contestants from other countries must consider the time and effort it takes to get approved visas for travel abroad. If someone cannot get a visa approval, no refunds will be given, as the international office is not responsible for this situation.
International Pageant
There is one overall International Pageant held annually in the USA where all Regional-National and National Queens are required to compete. All contestants must have a national title to compete at the international pageant.
National Heritage Titles
Heritage Titles are awarded through our Virtual Pageant Program. Contestants living in a country/region where a live pageant is being held can compete for a heritage title as long as it is not being offered in a LIVE pageant in another country. After that pageant is held, if heritage titles are still available, contestants can apply to compete for one through our Virtual Pageant Program.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I WIN MY STATE/NATIONAL TITLE?
You will be required to compete at the upcoming international pageant for your chance to win some great prizes!
WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM UNABLE TO COMPETE AT THE UPCOMING INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION?
Contestants and the parent(s)/legal guardian(s) of minor contestants are responsible for ensuring they are available to compete before accepting, earning, or being appointed a title. By accepting a title and registering for the PURE International Pageant, the contestant acknowledges that competing at the upcoming International Pageant is a required obligation of holding that title.
VOLUNTARY WITHDRAWL:
If a contestant voluntarily withdraws after accepting, earning, or being appointed a state, regional, national, heritage, or returning title, she must notify the International Office in writing.
THE FOLLOWING WITHDRAWL POLICIES APPLY:
Contestants choosing this option permanently forfeit the right to represent, advertise, appear, or identify themselves as holding that PURE title.
Any withdrawal made within sixty (60) days of the International Pageant will incur an additional $100 Late Withdrawal Fee.
Withdrawal fees are separate from all other fees and do not replace or reduce any financial obligations already owed.
A contestant who is unable to compete because of extraordinary circumstances beyond her reasonable control, including but not limited to serious illness, injury, military deployment, significant work or educational changes, visa denial, or other circumstances approved by the International Director, may submit a written request to be excused.
Requests must be emailed to Angie@PureInternationalPageants.com and must include appropriate documentation from a physician, employer, educational institution, military authority, or other official source.
Approval is solely at the discretion of the International Director. Approval is not guaranteed.
If approved:
NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL QUEENS:
National and International Queens are contractually obligated to complete their reign until they officially crown their successor.
Failure to complete a reign may result in withdrawal fees, breach of contract damages, revocation of title, return of prizes, and any additional remedies outlined in the signed Titleholder Agreement.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:
By registering for a PURE International Pageants event, each contestant acknowledges and agrees that she is financially responsible for all fees associated with her participation, whether paid in full or placed on an approved payment plan.
These fees include, but are not limited to:
A contestant's decision to withdraw, resign, fail to make payments, or choose not to participate does not cancel, reduce, or eliminate any financial obligation owed to PURE International Pageants.
All fees become due according to the published payment schedule and remain the responsibility of the contestant until paid in full.
REFUND POLICY:
All registration fees, sponsorships, title fees, optional fees, deposits, payments, products, merchandise, and other monies paid to PURE International Pageants are non-refundable and non-transferable, except as expressly stated in these Official Rules and Policies.
By the time a contestant withdraws, PURE has often incurred significant expenses on the contestant's behalf, including but not limited to venue commitments, meals, apparel, gifts, awards, production expenses, scheduling, staffing, printing, administrative costs, and other event-related obligations. These expenses are incurred regardless of whether the contestant ultimately attends.
CHARGE BACKS AND PAYEMENT DISPUTES:
Submitting a credit card dispute, bank dispute, payment reversal, or chargeback does not cancel a contestant's contractual obligations or entitle the contestant to a refund.
PURE International Pageants reserves the right to dispute any chargeback and pursue all remedies available under the signed agreements and applicable law, including collection of unpaid balances, recovery of fees, costs, interest where permitted, attorney's fees where recoverable, and any other contractual or legal remedies.
Acknowledgment:
By completing registration, the contestant acknowledges that she has read, understands, and agrees to abide by these Official Rules and Policies, the policies published on the PURE International Pageants website, the electronic acknowledgments completed through Tally Genie, and the signed Contestant and/or Titleholder Agreement.
The contestant further acknowledges that she is financially responsible for all fees associated with her participation and agrees to pay all amounts due according to the published payment schedule. Failure to compete, voluntary withdrawal, resignation, or failure to complete the pageant does not release the contestant from her financial obligations.
These documents collectively govern all registration, payment, withdrawal, refunds, transfers, titleholder responsibilities, and participation requirements.
HOW CAN I COMPETE IN NEXT YEAR'S INTERNATIONAL PAGEANT?
A reigning national queen who competed at the LIVE international pageant and did not win may return to the next year's international pageant with a new national title assigned to her by her national director. After the end of her newly assigned title reign, if a titleholder is aging up, she must go back and compete at a national pageant in the next age division.
A titleholder contract and sponsorship fee will apply to all returning titleholders. Returning titleholders who recommit to the next season are subject to a withdraw fee just like new titleholders if they withdraw after accepting a new title or renewing their previous title.
REQUIRED PURCHASES
Required purchases for a State/National & International Pageant include two (2) separate purchases:
1. Sponsorship Fee
2. Opening number outfit, if required. Check with your director.
All titleholders are required to pay a $150 deposit on their International Sponsorship for the upcoming International Pageant when signing their queen's contract immediately following her crowning and the remaining balance of the package must be paid within 90 days of winning their title or by the deadline date, whichever comes first. All monies received on an account go towards the International Sponsorship Fee before being applied to any other purchases including Super Star Optional Competitions and Best of the Best Competitions. Failure to pay the deposit or required fees by the deadline dates given will result in the winner forfeiting her title to the next eligible contestant and with no refund of any moneys paid. Any deposits pay will not be used towards a withdraw fee. Failure to pay for required purchases or submissions by deadline dates may result in point deductions for each infraction.
MISC
Finalists under the age of 18 may not be married, divorced, be pregnant, or have children.
Finalists in our Miss and older age divisions who are pregnant while competing must sign a non-responsibility form to release PURE, its staff, and affiliates of any and all liabilities.
Finalists must abide by rules set forth by their director for things like hotel stay requirements, meal purchases, group photo shoots, additional behavioral regulations, appearances, etc.
Finalists with current or pending law convictions may not compete.
Contestants who have posed for nude or nearly nude photos may not compete.
All paperwork whether signed in person or submitted electronically serves as a legal-binding contract for a contestant that she or her parents/guardians agree to all PURE terms and conditions. A pageant registration is considered a legal biding contract that a contestant agrees to compete in said pageant and will pay all required fees. Parents/guardians of our teen and younger age divisions are required to sign a winner's contract on the winner's behalf as they are obligating their minor child to the winner's terms and conditions.
All finalists must be born female, remain as a female, and compete as a female.
Bad sportsmanship and false representation will result in loss of points or titles at a director's discretion.
Finalists are responsible for providing their own language interpreters, including sign language, and all expenses associated with the interpreter.
Finalists who have special needs are responsible for making and paying for all arrangements for meet those needs. Finalists with special needs must convey those needs to the director prior to competing. A director may not be able to accommodate all special needs but will do his/her best to do so.
PURE and its affiliates are not responsible for any and all accidents and loss, or theft at any PURE event.
In the case of an act of God or issues with a venue, or changes in government policies/procedures pertaining to the pageant will be rescheduled with no refunds granted. Health and safety will remain the top priority for all PURE Staff, Directors, Contestants, and Affiliates at all times. If a pageant is rescheduled due to an act of God, issues related to pandemics, or regulations set forth by governing authorities and a finalist cannot compete in the pageant on the new pageant date, her payments will be transferred into up to two other pageant events. If she cannot attend either event, then all payments will be forfeited. All monies received are non-transferable to another account. If a contestant has a sponsor who has paid fees towards her account and does not compete at the pageant/event in which those fees were intended, the contestant is responsible for paying back the sponsor for the entire sponsorship amount. Keep in mind that a sponsor has the right to seek legal assistance to regain the sponsorship funds from the contestant.
No makeup, flippers, wiglets, body/face glitter, or spray tans are permitted for the Princess, Little Miss, and Junior Miss divisions. All other age divisions should consider wearing hair/makeup that is age appropriate.
Wardrobe worn at any time to represent PURE should not have plunging necklines, side cut outs, be see through, super short, or revealing. No blue jeans with holes, short shorts or shorts with holes in them, and no strapless tops. Hair & makeup should be done, and titleholders should look professional when representing their title. If you are not dressed or groomed to fit these standards, please leave your crown and sash in your crown box. Always dress to "make your crown look good."
Pure International Pageants is not a charity organization. Finalists are responsible for any and all funds raised and personally giving that money to their charity. We do not accept funds on behalf of any charities or projects. Pure International does not allow directors to raise or collect money for any charity.
As with any pageant, contestants should consider the mission, beliefs, and vision of a pageant or pageant system before applying to compete. If our mission and vision does not align with your mission, beliefs, and vision, you should NOT sign up for any of our pageants or events.
NO titleholder pages, groups, or accounts may be made by a titleholder. It is a director's responsibility to make them for you and give you posting privileges. If a titleholder has a previous PURE title page/account or a page/account with a different pageant that is at least one year old, she must make her PURE Director as an Admin during her reign. After a titleholder has completed her reign, she may not turn her PURE page into another title page for another pageant system or pageant.
PURE is not responsible for prizes awarded or not awarded by sponsors. A queen will receive her forthcoming prizes when she has met or exceeded her contractual requirements. When trips are awarded, flights or travel may or may not be provided. Please ask your director for more information.
All images, verbiage, or promotional videos/photography taken on behalf of a finalist, director, event, pageant, or any person associated with PURE remain the sole property of Pure International Pageants and may not be used to promote or represent any other pageant, business, or event without written consent from the Pure International Pageants office. Violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
No one may use, in partial or full, PURE's name, logo, verbiage, slogans, sash titles, promotional materials, images, crowns, awards, or similarities of the aforementioned items as it is a violation of its trademark and/or copy rights. Violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law at the violator's expense. Pure crowns and age division winner sashes are personally designed by our Executive Director who owns the design and rights to all.
A national queen/finalist may not direct for another pageant, be on another pageant's staff, with the exception of one annual charity pageant, or start her own pageant system while holding a PURE title or within one year of resigning her title, having a title removed, or within six months of crowning her successor without permission of the international office. International adult queens or parents/guardians of International minor queens may become a Director for PURE during their reign. Once the time frame has been met and a queen chooses to start her own pageant, her pageant can have no similarities to our pageant system, including but not limited to our pageant name, age division titles, colors, style, logos, sashes, crowns, verbiage, slogans, mission statements, contractual information, websites, and promotional materials. If a contestant is already a pageant director, she may consult her PURE Director to let him/her know about her system/pageant. We allow directors from other systems to compete or director for PURE as long as they understand and abide by the rules/regulations set forth by our pageant and do not recruit PURE finalists or use any of our programs/competitions/information/images/verbiage, etc. PURE also offers a Liaison Program in which finalists, national queens, or international queens, or one of their family members may help a director when needed. This does NOT have any effect on the outcome of who wins or doesn't win a title.
COMPETING IN PURE WHILE HOLDING ANOTHER TITLE
The only title(s) a state or national contestant may have before or while competing in PURE at any level is no more than two (2) festival, fair, fundraiser, or community service titles. Or they may only have one state or national title that does not have a non-compete clause at any level or the titleholder is within 45 days or less of finishing her reign with that title or after the completion of obligations following a higher level of competition.
A list of current titles being held as well as any titles already contractually obligated to must be provided to the director PRIOR to competing in PURE. Anyone competing in a pageant after winning a PURE title that your director was not informed about will be asked to resign their title, pay a $750 fine, and return their crown and sash to her director. Legal action will be taken to pursue this fine at the violator's expense.
Contestants with a current title from another pageant or pageant system that requires them to compete at a state, national, or international level may not compete in PURE until their reign is officially over or officially resigned. Proof of both will be required for your director before you are able to compete in a PURE pageant.
A PURE title will be removed from anyone who hides this information and would happen to win a PURE title. If someone wins a PURE title and we later find out they had a state or national title with another system, as well as any contractual title at any level will be asked to resign their title and be legally obligated to return her crown and sash, as well as pay a resignation fee of $1,000. Legal action will be taken to pursue this fine at the violator's expense.
Any PURE titleholders recruiting for other pageants while competing at a PURE event or attending a PURE event will be asked to resign their title and pay a resignation fee of $1,000. Legal Action will be taken to pursue this fine at the violator's expense.
A titleholder must complete her reign with the highest PURE title she has. Completing a reign means competing at the next level when required, completing required appearances and #BeTheImpact Projects, and/or returning to the following year's pageant to assist with the pageant and crown their successor.
A queen may not promote other pageant systems they do not hold a title in while holding a PURE title. Her PURE pictures, videos, verbiage, or official wardrobe may not be used by other systems/pageants during her reign. Directors of other pageants using current PURE National or International titleholders, including but not limited to pictures or videos of our contestants competing at one of our pageants to promote their pageant without approval of the PURE International Office are subject to a lawsuit and will incur all said legal fees associated with the lawsuit.
Queens must order all promotional materials such as, but not limited to, car magnets, business cards, promotional materials, flyers, comp cards, and/or clothing items such as t-shirts, jackets, hoodies, sweatshirts, etc., through our international office. No exceptions.
Prior to the beginning of the competition, contestants or their parents/guardians are required to submit and sign a Media Release/Non-Responsibility-Medical Release/Good Sportsmanship form.
All Royalty is required to complete at least one Individual #BeTheImpact Projects and participate in at least one Director managed #BeTheImpact Project throughout her reign, as well as make at least one public event appearance each month of her reign.
Directors have the authority to change deadline dates for sign ups and payments at their discretion.

At any time during a State titleholder's Reign, a titleholder may only compete in up to 3 fundraiser pageants that do not have a contract attached or require her to compete at another level.

HAIR & MAKEUP ARTISTS
Hair & Makeup Artists must register with the pageant in which they are performing services. HMU Artists may be asked to provide gifts or services for winners at a director's discretion and instruction. HMU Artists should contact the Director for requirements and expectations. PURE is not responsible for any issues including services and payments to HMU Artists.

Prior to a competition, finalists will be asked to submit a form stating that they understand and agree to the requirments and the rules and regulations of Pure International Pageants.
WEBSITE PRECENDENCE
The Pure International official website takes precedence over any written forms of documentation, contestant, royalty or Director handbooks, scoring requirements, guidelines, fees, payouts, prizes, regulations, announcements on social media, etc., at all times as sometimes situations change once things have been published and it is our quickest form of communication to those interested or participating in our system.
ALL REIGNING ROYALTY REGULATIONS, CONTESTANT ELIGIBILITY, AND INFORMATION ASSOCIATED WITH OUR SYSTEM MAY BE CHANGED AT ANY TIME AT OUR DISCRETION. UPON COMPLETING AN APPLICATION, IT BECOMES A WRITTEN AND LEGAL DOCUMENT THAT A CONTESTANT OR PARENT REPRESENTING A MINOR CONTESTANT AGREES TO AND WILL ABIDE BY ALL ELIGIBILITY & REGULATIONS, CURRENT AND FORTHCOMING.
